There isn't much information available about this maker. From what I've been able to find, Robert Metzner in New York City was the man behind the "Roberts" reel-to-reel tape recorders (actually made by AIWA). Metzner had the motors and bearings for these turntables imported from Japan, then the final product was assembled in NYC and sold under the "Metzner" brand.
